Safari Description
Begin at Victoria Falls, one of Africa’s most iconic natural landmarks, where the Zambezi River plunges into the gorge with immense force and atmosphere. From here, continue to nearby Zambezi National Park for a more peaceful river-based safari experience, staying on an island in the Zambezi River. It is a lovely contrast to the energy of the Falls, with time to settle into the rhythm of the river and enjoy the surrounding wilderness.
The journey then continues by road to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s best-known big game destination. Hwange is renowned for its elephant herds, seasonal wildlife concentrations and varied habitats, making it a rewarding safari stop.
End in the Matobo Hills National Park, a beautiful and culturally significant landscape of balancing granite kopjes, ancient rock art and powerful history. This is also one of the few places in Zimbabwe where you will find rhino. This final safari stay adds depth and texture to the safari, combining striking scenery with a strong sense of place.
With road transfers between each region, this safari offers excellent value while still showcasing some of Zimbabwe’s most memorable highlights.
