Mashatu Tented Camp lies within Mashatu Game Reserve in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve of Botswana, bordering the northern tip of South Africa. This is quintessential Africa – with space so open and vast, an array of wildlife from the gigantic to the miniscule; majestic skies unfettered by smog, and unexpected adventure beyond the usual game drives with horse-back safaris, cycling safaris and walks in the wild all on offer.

Mashatu Tented Camp is an intimate camp of eight twin tents which aims to blend in with the environment. It’s ideally suited to someone seeking a true bush experience. This idyllic camp is rustic but comfortable, with good beds, en suite facilities, a boma overlooking the bush for evening dining and a plunge pool to cool off in during the day.

The exciting Mashatu landscape of outcrops and gigantic trees is unique in Botswana, with a high concentration of elephant. 4x4 safari vehicles with experienced rangers and trackers bring you into close contact with an Africa that is largely known only in wildlife documentaries and glossy books.

Mashatu also offers a range of other activities. These include walking safaris, mountain bike safaris, horse-riding safaris, photographic hides as well as cultural excursions. Mashatu Tented camp combines these adventure safaris within with an authentic charming tented camp.
