Safari Description
Your journey begins in Cape Town, staying in the leafy Constantia Valley at the Cellars-Hohenhort Hotel. From here, you explore the city’s culinary and cultural heritage through a Cape Malay cooking experience, and a selection of private tours showcasing Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula, and the Constantia winelands.
You then travel into the Cape Winelands, enjoying a full-day wine-tasting experience across Stellenbosch and Franschhoek before settling into historic Stellenbosch for two nights. A guided walking foodie tour introduces you to South African regional delicacies and local producers, offering a relaxed and social way to explore the town’s culinary scene.
Continuing east, you journey along scenic Route 62 to the charming town of Swellendam, followed by a leisurely drive along the Garden Route. Here, dramatic coastlines, forested landscapes, and coastal villages set the tone for a slower, scenic chapter, complemented by a full-day exploration of the Plettenberg Bay and Tsitsikamma regions.
The journey concludes in the Eastern Cape with three nights at Kichaka Game Reserve, a refined and intimate safari lodge set within a private reserve. Here, you enjoy classic Big Five game drives in a relaxed setting — a fitting finale that contrasts beautifully with the coastal and culinary experiences of the Cape.
