Port Elizabeth & St Francis Bay

Port Elizabeth & St Francis are the gateway to the Eastern Cape and offer sandy beaches, cultural tours & great links golf courses.

Overview

Port Elizabeth is the gateway to the Eastern Cape. It's commonly known as PE, but also recently renamed as Gqeberha. It offer sandy beaches, cultural tours of the city & two links golf courses at Humewood and St Francis.

PE has a range of very pleasant boutique hotels for an overnight stay. If you have time, we recommend a boat cruise for whales and dolphins sightings in season. Or perhaps enjoy a round of golf at Humewood.

The attractive coastal resort towns of St Francis Bay and Jeffreys Bay are both are only 45-60 minutes west of Port Elizabeth, on the way to the Garden Route.

The village is of picturesque white-washed thatched cottages right on the beach. There's a network of canals throughout the little town. Here you may enjoy swimming, surfing, beach walks and perhaps a round of golf at the well-regarded St Francis Links.

Jeffrey’s Bay is famous for its majestic waves. Many surfers regars them as some of the finest in the world.
