- Bountiful hunting ground for large prides of lion and leopard
- Luxurious camp in the midst of the Delta
- Arguably some of the best game viewing in Botswana
Note: Mombo is closing for a complete new rebuild, reopening in 2018.
Mombo Camp is situated on Mombo Island at the northern tip of Chief’s Island and is within the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp offers true exclusivity and privacy in the Okavango, coupled with abundant big game, arguably the best in Botswana. Mombo camp is situated beneath a shady canopy of huge trees on the edge of a broad floodplain. The facilities include 10 large comfortably furnished tents, all with en-suite facilities. The dining room, pub, and living area overlook the open plain in front of the camp and there is a plunge pool for relaxing in the heat of the day.
