Emin Pasha, Kampala – the capital’s most stylish boutique hotel
- Stylish contemporary bedrooms
- Beauty Spa
- On site brasserie restaurant as well as walking distance to others
The Emin Pasha Hotel, a 20-Bedroom luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Kampala, is an ideal place to relax before or after a safari. It is in a green and peaceful part of Kampala, secluded, yet within walking distance of other restaurants (though it has its own). Set in nearly 2 acres of leafy landscaped gardens, the hotel strikes a balance of graceful 1920’s charm and modern comfort.
Part of the hotel is in a restored old colonial house, while the rest is a fairly modern (but tropical) interpretation of a country house hotel with courtyards, open spaces, pergolas and terraces. All the rooms are individually decorated with vibrant fabrics, deep armchairs, artwork in hardwood frames, antique desks and beautiful slate bathrooms. Garden rooms and suites are on the ground floor with French doors out. Superior rooms have views over the gardens or private courtyards.
Unlike many a boutique hotel in Africa, Emin Pasha Hotel also features areas open to the public, like the Fez Brasserie and Wine Bar. This gives the place a more interesting atmosphere and ensures the quality of the wine cellar as its aiming to be the best in town!
Facilities include an inviting swimming pool and Spa.
Emin Pasha is one of the top leisure destinations in Kampala for locals and vistors – a lovely boutique hotel with an excellent spa and beautiful grounds. Being open to non-residents means that it has to maintain its reputation.
