Overview

Africa on Foot's location is in a prime wildlife area. Located in the heart of the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. Africa on Foot offers guests the opportunity to experience a professional Big Five walking safari in the Kruger. The Klaserie shares unfenced borders with the Kruger, which means wildlife roams freely throughout.

The atmosphere at camp is relaxed. The focus is on authenticity and the "bush" as opposed to premier luxury. Guests will be made to feel like they are part of the Africa on Foot family. There are only five chalets which means a personalized, intimate service. There are 2 chalets available for families with adjoining rooms and space for 4 people. For the more adventurous, there is a beautifully constructed and comfortable treehouse just outside the camp for guests wanting to sleep out in the wild. This can be booked at no extra cost. On balmy summer days guests can relax at the splash pool and enjoy a traditional South African barbecue (braai) around the camp fire area in the boma.

On a walking safari guests will be led by experienced and professional game rangers through a wildlife area rich in game. See lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo as well as hyena, hippo, giraffe, zebra and a whole host of other wildlife. In addition to walking safaris, Big 5 game drives and night drives are offered allowing guests to participate in a full spectrum of safari activities.
