Milandi grew up on a fruit farm in the Little Karoo in South Africa where her love for nature first emerged. She swapped country life for the city after school and spent 3 years studying Travel and Tourism in Cape Town. Cape Town is still her favourite city in the world. After 5 years in travel there, she wanted to widen her horizons and do some travelling in the northern hemisphere. She joined Cedarberg's UK office in 2002 and was then caught up in English culture and decided to stay nearly 10 years. Milandi returned to South Africa in 2012 and continue working for us. She has lived in the Little Karoo, Cape Town, Otjiwarongo, Namibia and London, UK and she has travelled extensively within South Africa, Namibia,  Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Mozambique, Mauritius and Madagascar. Milandi's most recent research trips have been to Namibia and Rwanda. When she is back at her desk, she is calm and thorough. Quiet but tenacious, Milandi manages to pull off the seemingly impossible for her clients, frequently against all the apparent odds! Recently, she has been swapping camera tips with some of her regular clients as she experiments with her growing enthusiasm for photography. Many of the pics on the website are Milandi's handiwork but she maintains she is unhappy with the results. We are led to believe that only further travel will effect an improvement, preferably a much anticipated return to Botswana ...
