Stanley Safari Lodge

Overview

  • Highly romantic
  • The open plan suites are some of the most romantic on offer
  • Child-friendly with choice of open or closed suites
  • Good cuisine

Set on a hill overlooking unspoilt bush, Stanley Safari Lodge borders the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park near Victoria Falls in Zambia. This elegant and luxurious lodge has only 10 uniquely designed chalets and suites. So it offers a high level of personal service. The atmosphere is tranquil, intimate and romantic.

Accommodation

Each room is constructed of teak and local stone and decorated with local Zambian materials. Some are open-sided to enjoy the sounds and sights of the African bush, which we think is a really unique feature. However, there are also more conventional colonial-style closed chalets and suites if you prefer. Each of the 4 suites has a private plunge pool with a deck or terrace and a lounge area. The Honeymoon suite and Family suite are open-fronted. Which affords a unique view across the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park to the mighty Zambezi River and the Victoria Falls. The closed Stanley suite is two bedroomed so it’s ideal for families as well. All rooms and suites have a full bathroom with bath and shower as well as a deck or terrace to enjoy the views.

Stanley Safari Lodge facilities

Stanley Safari Lodge’s main lodge provides the setting for French style cuisine. Alternatively dine under the Zambian stars on the lawn or in the privacy of your own suite. Its impressive double volume lounge, with fireplace for a cooler African winter's night, is a wonderful place to relax. Outside the covered verada overlooking the beautiful gardens, firepit and bushveld beyond. Stanley Safari Lodge has a stylish infinity pool with views to the Falls. Indeed the lodge lies only 3km from Victoria Falls and offers gorgeous views with the spray of the Falls in the distance, the Zambezi river and stunning African sunsets.

Spend your days enjoying the area, or by the pool spotting elephants at the nearby water hole. Stanley Safari Lodge includes two activities each day and you can choose between a guided tour of the Falls, a sunset boat cruise and a visit to Mukuni village.

Children are welcome at Stanley Safari Lodge and may share with parents in their spacious family suites, either open or closed.
