As its name suggests, Kloof Street Hotel is situated on popular Kloof Street, located close to Cape Town central.
Whilst one of the larger properties in the portfolio, this spacious hotel still manages to hold on to the boutique feel that all Lion Roars properties are known and loved for.
The ground floor has a restaurant and a coffee shop to get your day started on the right note. It also has a shared working space and boardroom facilities, for those who need to be online, even when they are offline.
Strikingly natural in decor and vibrant in personality, this theme carries up to the sunny rooftop deck with its bar, pool, loungers and outside tables for those who'd prefer to dine al fresco. With its lush greenery, loungers, and an ice-cold Pina Colada in hand, you could be forgiven for thinking you were somewhere tropical, and not in the very heart of Cape Town.
Kloof Street Hotel's rooms are modern and all maintain the signature Lion Roars style - earthy and natural materials, light and airy, with comfort in mind above all else. The show-stopper rooms have to be the two exclusive and spacious Penthouse Suites (Phase 2) on the top floor, which both offer all the mod-cons and space you could need, as well as those trademark views of Cape Town's skyline and breathtaking mountains.

Luxury Rooms
Our Luxury Rooms are light and airy They follow the theme of the hotel, with touches of greenery and raw timber features throughout, while still maintaining a traditionally classic aesthetic. We also offer a Disabled Luxury Room in this room category for disabled assisted travellers. This double room has a flat-screen TV, electric kettle and air-conditioning but no terrace, unlike our Luxury View Suite with terrace. Room amenities include air-conditioning (hot and cold), complimentary tea and coffee facilities, a fully stocked minibar, digital safe, hairdryer, free WiFi and flat-screen television. The private ensuite bathroom contains a walk-in shower, toilet, wash basin and bathroom amenities. Select suites do come with a free-standing bath.
Luxury View Suite (with terrace)

Penthouse
(2 ROOMS) Large and spacious at approximately 65sqm, our exclusive Penthouse Suites can be found at the top level of our hotel, set apart from all the other rooms with penthouse views and private, vast balconies. From this elevated position the views from the large floor to ceiling windows are awe-inspiring, with iconic Table Mountain, Devil's Peak and Lion's Head views from your windows and or balconies. With high end finishings, opulent decor, designer furniture, and incredible art, we regret no children are allowed to be accommodated here. Both of the Penthouses also have large outdoor space with a shower and outdoor furniture to make the most of indoor-outdoor living. This provides a perfect place to breathe in the magnificent views as the sun sets.
Luxury Room - Disabled Assist
(2 ROOMS) Our Luxury Rooms Disabled Assist are light and airy. They follow the theme of the hotel, with touches of greenery and raw timber features throughout, while still maintaining a traditionally classic aesthetic. These rooms are are easily accessible via a lift and thoughtfully laid out with plenty of room for manoeuvring. They have been equipped with a full range of assisted disabled assist facilities, to guarantee a comfortable stay for up to 2 guests. There is rail assistance around the bath and water closet. Room amenities include air-conditioning (hot and cold), complimentary tea and coffee facilities, a fully stocked minibar, digital safe, hairdryer, free WiFi and flat-screen television.
