Linyanti Bush Camp

Linyanti Bush Camp is a tented safari camp, set in one of the remotest parts of Africa, in the Linyanti Swamps on the edge of the Chobe Park in a private concession. The magnificent area boasts big herds of buffalo in the dry season and close encounters of unique wildlife species such as aardvark. The endless vistas of the Linyanti marsh makes an incredible playing field for the avid bird watcher. The Linyanti swamps are the only water source for miles around and attract water-adapted and desert-adapted wildlife as well as large numbers of birds.

This tented camp has 6 large East African Meru-style tents. All tents have en-suite facilities with hot showers and flush toilet, plus a comfortable sofa with writing desk, chest of drawers and cupboard. Each tent is positioned to offer glorious views of the Linyanti Marsh.

Linyanti Bush Camp offers a diverse range of water and land activities throughout the year. Depending on water levels, motorboats and mokoro trips offer the chance to experience the incredible numbers of bird, plant and reptile species found in the Linyanti Marsh. Game drives are conducted in open safari vehicles. In addition, night drives are offered on the private concession. Guided walks are available with a highly experienced professional guide. Fishing is also offered with the tilapia being the most popular catch.

Truly unforgettable

"Truly unforgettable was the first part with the Young Explorers team at the camp in Linyanti. Stephen really bonded with the team, especially with Paul whom he looked up to as a bigger brother. All of the staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to provide top service. We’ve even made a few new facebook friends. Specific compliments should go to the chef who managed to cope with just about any culinary challenge that Stephen could think of, including pizza and spaghetti bolognese, all made on a fire! "
