Overview
La Fontaine Boutique Hotel is a Victorian house close to the centre of Franschhoek, surrounded on all sides by soaring mountains.
This boutique hotel has just undergone a major refurbishment. It now has 17 double en-suite rooms and suites, including some ground floor rooms for easy access. The main house is full of charm with wooden floors and antiques. It is set in peaceful gardens with a swimming pool and views. There are five bed rooms are upstairs and one downstairs in the main house. Three more rooms are in Campbell House, a adjoining 19th century house and there are also three family-friendly suites in the gardens.
The Campbell House’s rooms can be taken as a unit be converted into a private three bedroom villa, ideal for families or friends travelling together.
La Fontaine serves an English breakfast under the vines or in their dining room. One of the big plus points is its central yet peaceful location. It is an easy walking distance to the local restaurants, shops and art galleries of the village, but in a side street so away from the busy main street. Golf, wine-tasting, fly fishing, horse-riding and cycling routes are also all available nearby. La Fontaine also has off-street parking and complimentary Wifi.

A large private balcony with breathtaking mountain views completes the experience.
