Overview
Etosha Oberland Lodge is a relatively new lodge (with the misfortune of opening in March 2020). It lies very close to the Andersson Gate into the central Etosha National Park, in its own private nature park.
This luxurious lodge offers an inviting lobby, restaurant and bar with an adjoining lounge with fire pit. To enhance the experience, you can enjoy the viewing deck and swimming pool as well as complimentary wifi in communal areas.
The main area and restaurant of the Lodge is nestled in a wild, ancient “garden” and is surrounded by big trees. When entering the open lobby area with the bar and outside seating area, the view immediately wanders into the wide open space and chances are high to spot the first animals in the distance.
Etosha Oberland is conveniently situated a 10km drive from the Andersson Gate, south of Etosha National Park – a good starting point for excursions in the Park with exciting game viewing experiences. Activities offered by the lodge include a guided 4x4 safari excursion into Etosha National Park. Your guide has in depth knowledge of wildlife in the area. Departure times varies seasonally, depending on park opening hours, with a return around 2 to 4pm. The trips last for approximately 7-8 hrs.
The accommodation comprises of 18 beautifully appointed and spacious chalets with en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower, private sun terrace complete with comfy chairs.

Premier Chalet
The spacious chalets are lovingly integrated in nature. All are positioned apart from each other, hardly perceived by their neighbours and promise much privacy. The premium chalets and their terraces offer a unique view of the savanna. tasteful design and stylish decor present the background for an unforgettable stay. All have en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower, private sun terrace complete with comfy chairs. Other facilities include air conditioning, a tea and coffee station with fridge, mosquito nets, hairdryer and safe.
Family Chalet
These spacious chalets are lovingly integrated in nature. All are positioned apart from each other, hardly perceived by their neighbours and promise much privacy. The premium chalets and their terraces offer a unique view of the savanna. The Family chalet has place for a family of 4, a double bed and two single beds. Tasteful design and stylish decor, in a spacious 75 m2, combine for an unforgettable stay.

This is really a gem and on the high end in style and feel!!
This is a new lodge that opened during the covid pandemic in March 2022 - so due to the limited amount of guests the staff (even though they had the best training) they still quite new to the business of hospitality and lacked some of the finer details.
The meals that where served where prepared with fresh ingredients, beautifully plated and was delicious.
Rooms are VERY nice, a lot of attention to detail and finishing touches. Best bed time setup with plug ports and space for essentials. The touch light on the mirror in the bathroom is very nice, HUGE shower with a view a bonus. There is an outside shower as an extra bonus.
There is 15 premier chalets and 3 two bedroomed family chalets, making this property perfect for families.
