Avani Victoria Falls Resort

The magnificent Avani Victoria Falls Resort in Zambia lies on the banks of the Zambezi River, close to the spectacular Eastern Cataract of the mighty Victoria Falls. This 3+ star resort hotel is actually the closest hotel to the Falls!

The architecture of the Victoria Falls Resort evokes the feel of an old adobe-walled city. Simple finishes highlight bright mosaics and fabrics, ethnic wall stencils and Zambian artworks. The hotel comprises open, low-level buildings in earthy colours with clusters of rooms, punctuated by chimneys and towers.

Rooms

The 212 en suite rooms are open and airy and each has French windows opening out onto the landscaped pool area. The restaurant and bar are focused around the central pool. Added amenities in the rooms include independent air-conditioning, satellite TV, fold out couch, minibar, safe, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. En suite bathrooms have bath and shower and each room has either a private balcony or terrace. There are larger family rooms that can accommodate two children which have a small sitting area as well.
