Overview
Future Found Sanctuary is a luxury mountainside retreat on the back slopes of Table Mountain overlooking Hout Bay. The rooms are all in two villas which can be booked either individually or you can book one or both of the villas on an exclusive use basis.
The barefoot luxury, elemental design and selections of local art that fill the villas and gardens are all part of the intention for guests to slow down and align with the rhythms of nature. From instilling nutrients back into the soil of our gardens to creating unique experiences that connect our guests to our local community and environments, to supporting indigenous artisans in our decor and shop.
Maison Noir - Harnessing the restorative power of nature, Maison Noir is a five-bedroom villa that inspires sensory rejuvenation through its connection to the landscape. It includes one Grand Master Suite, one Master suite and three Deluxe Suites (some with lofts for extra beds)
Villa Verte - Is a four-bedroom architectural masterpiece elevated on the slopes of Table Mountain, offering unmatched panoramic views. it includes one Grand Master Suite, one Deluxe Suite and two Deluxe rooms.
Experience & Activities
The Sanctuary offers a range of unique experiences, from transcendent sound journeys and therapeutic forest bathing to farm-to-table foraging and fireside storytelling. Each experience is based on biomimicry to help guests reconnect with nature.
The Sanctuary's exclusive-use fitness centre and spa offer a range of classes and treatments to soothe the mind and body, including power-weight workouts, gentle yoga stretching, and muscle-melting massages.
The Sanctuary is just half an hour from the heart of Cape Town, a short distance from breathtaking sandy beaches, and only 10 minutes from the historic wine farms of Constantia.

Earth Pod Room
The Earth Forest Pod provides a 70-square-meter sanctuary surrounded by lush forest views, with an outdoor patio. The open-plan pod features a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, lounge, and dining area for two. Guests enjoy a mini bar, TV, Wi-Fi, and a coffee and tea station, with access to pools, spa, gym, cinema, and wine cellar*.
Luxury Room
Villa Verde - The surrounding mountains are all-enveloping in this Luxury Room (twilight), where a wallpaper of Sansevieria leaves echoes this natural aesthetic. Designer touches can be seen in all the specially curated furnishings. Luxury Room (Dawn) - Nature’s spoils are evident in this Luxury Room's views of Hout Bay valley and its surrounding mountains. Wallpaper decorated in Strelitzia strikes a stylish complement, while locally designed furniture adds textural finesse.
Sky Forest Pod Room
The Sky Forest Pod at Future Found Sanctuary offers a luxurious 75-square-meter open-plan escape with breathtaking valley and mountain views. Featuring a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with a scenic bath, cozy lounge, and a dining area for two, it ensures a serene stay. Equipped with a mini bar, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a coffee and tea station, guests enjoy comfort and convenience. Access to pools, spa, gym, cinema, and wine cellar* enhances the immersive experience.
Luxury Suite
Villa Verde - This Luxury Suite offers a nature-inspired hideaway thanks to its wallpaper scenery of a eucalyptus forest complemented by sweeping real-life views of the Hout Bay valley and the surrounding mountains. Guests can take advantage of the cantilevered balcony, or retreat into the suite's private lounge area. Maison Noir - Luxury Suite 1 offers a sunken concrete bath with shower which adds to the raw charm of the Luxury Suite’s bathroom, while an additional outdoor shower enhances the connection to nature. The Suite's main bedroom has a stylish king-size bed, while the office loft can be transformed into an extra bedroom if needed. Maison Noir - Leading directly to the garden and swimming pool, this Luxury Suite 2 is filled with natural light. Guests can enjoy glorious mountain views from the office loft/second bedroom or soak up the blue sky from the outdoor shower. Maison Noir - Luxury Suite 3 offers a semi-private courtyard leading directly to the majestic garden and swimming pool. The outdoor shower is another way to enjoy this closeness to nature, as is the rooftop patio accessed from the loft office that can double as an additional bedroom.

With its own parking, entrance, and lavish patio garden, this Master Suite offers complete privacy from the rest of the property when needed. Botanical wallpaper in the TV lounge creates a bold design statement, while a fireplace adds cosy comfort.
