Steenberg Hotel in Constantia Valley

Our final nights were spent at Steenberg Hotel & Spa. We are guilty of sometimes only thinking of it as the PERFECT hotel for guests wanting to enjoy some golf whilst staying in Cape Town. But our stay reminded us that it offers so much MORE!ย

Review of Olivers Camp in Tarangire

I was slightly disappointed in Olivers Camp.ย I expected the lodge to be more luxurious but it is quite rustic and yet lacked the charm and intimacy of Little Olivers. The camp costs more but it is not much smarter in my opinion. The rooms are slightly larger but roughly the same in standard.ย  The only extra is sun loungers on your private deck.

Mari’s review of Dunia Camp in the central Serengeti

There were a lot of of things that I liked about Dunia Camp in the central Serengeti.ย We had great wildlife sightings. Such as lions in the trees with elephants underneath. Or leopards lounging in trees. Plus large herds of elephants.ย

Dunia Camp also offers easy access to the scenic Moru Kopjes area, known for its lion sightings, as well as the Seronera and southern Serengeti. It is on aย major migration corridor with the wildebeest and zebra passing the camp in May to June & back again in November to December

Olakira Camp Serengeti review

We stayed at Olakira in their new star-gazing tents. Olakiraโ€™s tents have been designed so that a portion of the tent hasย  a view from beneath a meshed net, offering you an outdoor experience whilst still remaining indoors. Star-gazing tents allow you the flexibility to roll your bed into the meshed area for an experience of sleeping beneath the stars.

We had great game viewing when we drove to the river. With many wildebeest and lions fighting. And also lots of hyenas spotted throughout my trip in Tanzania. I loved the bush breakfast and the setting and food was excellent!
