Chobe Bakwena Lodge review

Chobe bakwena lodge is a super litte lodge, well-priced and well-run. It is owner-managed by Adam and Jen and their very friendly staff team. What I liked was that it was a simple and intimate lodge and yet it also had pretty much everything that you needed: friendly and welcoming staff, experienced in-house guiding team, spacious chalets with both indoor and outdoor chalets, good food freshly cooked and also extra activities for the middle of the day such as guided bike rides and village walks.

Azura Benguerra Review

We stayed at Azura Benguerra for two nights. It was too short! On arrival we were allocated a private butler to tend to our every need, Mozambican style – ie not overly obsequious, but always around when you needed something.

Summerfield Rose Retreat and Spa by Ginny Russell

Summerfield is ideal for travelers who do not want to leave the bush when they leave the game reserves. The sound of rapids is the ideal soundtrack to a massage in the spa or a sundowner looking out for hippo on the lawn.

Mkulumadzi Camp Review

I love the riverside setting of Mkulumadzi and you can hear the water flowing throughout the day and night. I suspect that the swing bridge – being the only way to get to the camp – may be a logistical nightmare for the lodge to manage. But we found it was a magical part of the experience for us.

Review of Tanamera Lodge by Christine

If you want to explore the Sabie and Hazyview area then Tanamera Lodge is a really lovely option. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights whilst on honeymoon, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and also a great base from which to check out the many attractions close by.

Simbavati Hilltop Lodge Review

Believe it or not, we saw a rhino right on the side of the main road! We were told that Simbavati Hilltop has one of the most stunning elevated views of the veld in the area … and we were not disappointed! It is luxury mixed with comfort at its best at Simbavati Hilltop. The lodge has been beautifully decorated with lots of earthy tones, effective lighting and contemporary decor items.
