Begin your journey in the pristine South Luangwa National Park, one of Africa’s finest wildlife sanctuaries. Here, you’ll enjoy three nights at Luangwa River Camp, a stylish riverside retreat offering front-row access to the valley’s prolific game. Continue north to the park’s remote Nsefu sector for an authentic yet supremely comfortable safari at either Tena Tena or Nsefu Camp, where leopard sightings and evocative sunsets are hallmarks of the experience.
From there, fly to Malawi’s capital Lilongwe for a beautiful transition from bush to beach. Settle into four nights at Pumulani Lodge on the southern shores of Lake Malawi, the ‘lake of stars’. If you have more time, we recommend adding a few nights in Victoria Falls at the start of the safari, or adding a couple of nights in Liwonde National Park for some more relaxed game-viewing by 4×4 game vehicle, on foot or by boat.
