uShaka Marine World is one of the key attractions on the Golden Mile of Durban in KwaZulu Natal. This is a great way to spend a few hours in Durban, especially for families.

It comprises of broadly three separate activities.

Inside an old tanker ship lies the excellent Oceanarium . Then tn the surrounding grounds is the rest of Sea World which has a number of outside enclosures. Here you can enjoy a series of seal and dolphin shows at set times throughout the day.

Adjacent to Sea World is Wet ‘n Wild. This is a fresh water world of slides and pools. This caters for families, adrenaline junkies and even those less adventurous.

Finally there’s a relaxed shopping mall with a holiday vibe on the edge of uShaka Marine World. Here you’ll find a range of family-orientated restaurants and beach-orientated shops.So its good place to stock up on summer beach clothes.

You can purchase a ticket for the Oceanarium or Sea World or Wet & Wild. Usually a combination ticket for the whole of uShaka Marine World is also available. The price above is the current price for the Oceanarium.
