The Walden House is a gracious Victorian colonial style home on the slopes of Table Mountain. Only 5 minutes from the vibrant city centre, 7 minutes from the bustling waterfront and 10 minutes from the breathtaking Cape Coastline and beaches.
Accommodation
Walden House offers 7 elegant en-suite rooms in a charming courtyard garden setting. Four of the rooms offer direct access to the beautiful garden and the secure parking. One of which is a larger suite which has a little dressing area. Three of the rooms are situated in the Victorian homestead with magnificent views of the city, Table Mountain and Signal Hill. Two rooms share a balcony so they are ideal for friends travelling together. The large honeymoon suite has a fire place, large bathroom with, bath, separate shower and toilet. It offers direct access to its own balcony with mountain views. Each room has a television set, telephone and mini bar.
Breakfast is always a treat at Walden House. The in-house chef offers you a wholesome colonial breakfast in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast can also be enjoyed outside, next to the fresh water swimming pool.
