Overview
Villa Afrikana is superbly located boutique guest lodge in the heart of the Garden Route at Knysna. It's perched high above the town in the aptly named Paradise area of Knysna and offers glorious views from every bedroom over Knysna Lagoon and Knysna Heads.
Villa Afrikana has a wonderful modern Italian design courtesy of the owners Bianca (from Paarl) and Rossano from Florence. Here you can enjoy an ambience of conviviality and unpretentious elegance. All of the six suites are designed to maximize space, comfort and of course the views over the Knysna Heads and Lagoon. No two suites are the same, with one having a larger bedroom, the other having a large terrace or bathroom. Each contemporary suite features a spacious bathroom, private balcony, minibar, fan, satellite television, bathrobes, safe and tea/coffee facilities.
The Phantom suite has a second connecting bedroom and so is ideal for a family travelling together (sharing one bathroom). The slightly more expensive Noetzie suite is on the top floor and so enjoys particularly fine lagoon views, great privacy and a spa bath. They will be extending the guesthouse as they have purchased the neighbouring property.
Your hosts are attentive and friendly, suggesting places to visit, good restaurants and plying you with good Italian coffee. They also offer light meals such as a simple salad, if you fancy just relaxing on your balcony with a bottle of wine, rather than going out to dinner. Breakfast can be taken in the dining area, on the main deck or on your private deck, whatever you prefer. There's also a swimming pool.
Villa Afrikana is also perfect for keen golfers with golfing long stay rates on offer and a choice of three superb golf courses close by: Pezula Golf Estate, Simola Golf Estate and Knysna Golf Club. TBSA 5 star guesthouse.

Noetzie Suite
Situated on the second and top floor with its own Private Balcony of 6.0 SQM from which to enjoy magnificent views of the Knysna Heads and Lagoon. It comprises of a main bedroom of 32.8 SQM appointed with an extra length King Size bed and of a full size bathroom of 10.0 SQM, with all comforts, SPA Bath, separate shower cubicle, double washbasin and under-floor heating.

Materolli Suite
Situated on the first floor with wall to wall panoramic windows from which to enjoy magnificent views of the Knysna Heads and Lagoon. It comprises of a main bedroom of 35 SQM appointed with an extra length King Size bed that can be converted to twins and of a full size bathroom of 14.5 SQM with all comforts, bathtub, separate shower cubicle, double washbasin and under-floor heating. Phantom Suite
The Phantom Suite is situated on an elevated floor with its own separate entrance and Veranda from which to enjoy magnificent views of the Knysna Heads and Lagoon. It comprises of a main bedroom of 35 SQM appointed with an extra length King Size bed that can be converted to twins and of a full size bathroom of 13.0 SQM with all comforts, shower cubicle over the bathtub and double washbasin.
