Overview

Severin Safari Camp is hidden in the remote Kitani Wildlife area of Tsavo West National Park overlooking the Mt. Kilimanjaro. The eco-friendly luxury camp offers a unique combination of adventure, wellness and relaxation for the traveller who loves romantic pampering and unique wildlife experiences.

Tsavo West and East National Park is the third largest national park in the world and home to herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras and impalas which, among others, roam the landscape in search of fresh grass. The park is dominated by open scrubland that is interspersed with forested mountains, green river banks, lava flows and craters. There is a lot to discover during the exciting game drives in the park that covers more than 22,000 km2.

We have created a place in the middle of the Tsavo West National Park which reflects our deep bond with the country like no other. Our guests can look forward to a unique combination of adventure, relaxation and wellness as well as to very personalized service and culinary delights in our camp. In these times of great mobility and an overwhelming flood of information, why not treat yourself to the dream of relaxation, sustainability and responsible tourism?

Driving through the hot and dusty landscape, with its rolling plains and the twisted baobab trees, of Tsavo West National Park. The Severin Safari Camp is designed in a stylish natural design. The tents and suites feature handcrafted wood furniture in traditional African style.  The Camp is a haven with beautifully constructed tents, amazing dining, crystal clear pool and a pleasing spa. After a refreshing swim and a soothing massage, guests are treated with fantastic food at the lovely restaurant, whilst viewing the game coming to drink at the floodlit waterhole.

Accommodation at Severin Safari Camp

The camp offers 27 luxurious accommodations and 8 self-contained Kitani bandas spread over 25 hectares of bushland. The camp is not fenced and therefore perfectly integrated into the natural environment. The tents provide a wonderful view of the landscape and the wild animals that pass freely at the water hole. Maasai warriors work around the clock to protect them and are also representative of the harmony of the Severin Safari Camp with man and nature.
