Overview

From the day it opened its doors in 1902, Sarova Stanley, a 5 star hotel in Nairobi, has been making history - hosting royal safaris and a long line of living legends. The hotel has hosted many celebrities including modern stars like Isabella Rossellini, Michael Caine, Barbra Streisand and James Bond himself, the ageless Sean Connery. With this in mind, it is no wonder that the Sarova Stanley boasts it is one of the best hotels in Kenya.

Dining

Today, Sarova Stanley's heritage character is preserved whilst offering modern hotel services and amenities to create Nairobi's most special city hotel experience. Dining options include the well known open-air bistro style Thorn Tree Cafe, Thai Chi Restaurant - probably the most authentic Thai cuisine you will find in East Africa, the laid back Pool Deck Restaurant or sit back with a drink and light snack at The Exchange Bar.

Sarova Stanley Rooms and Suites

Rooms at Sarova Stanley come in three categories - Deluxe, Club and Themed Suites. The 160 Deluxe rooms have a classic decor and are extremely spacious for this starter level of room category. This is mainly due to the hotel being built when space was not an issue. There are 32 Club rooms and guests enjoy evening canapés followed by aromatic candles and chocolates for turn down service as part of their stay.

There is a comprehensive range of Themed Suites at the Sarova Stanley, including the Lamu Suite with it's four poster bed, luxury bathroom with jacuzzi, ideal for honeymooners. The 3 Junior Suites each have two bedrooms linked via the sitting room which are perfect for families.
