Overview

Nestling in the shade of indigenous riverine trees on the banks of the Msuthlu river lies Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp, the smallest and most secluded of Sabi Sabi’s 5-star lodges.  This camp offers luxury accommodation for family, friends, or small groups. Little Bush Camp exudes the same warmth and effortless hospitality that characterises Bush Lodge, but it also offers unparalled intimacy and seclusion.

Accommodation

Six luxury suites, each with a private viewing deck and heated spa bath overlooking the riverbed, are decorated in contemporary African design, complete with luxury furnishings, full bathroom en-suite, indoor and outdoor showers and air-conditioning. Thatched roofs, romantic mosquito nets draped over the comfortable beds and beautiful wooden finishes complete the picture of an exclusive safari getaway.

Delicious dinners eaten outside under gently-lit trees are a wonderful experience loved by all. This jewel of the South African bushveld boasts all of the features associated with an exceptional safari lodge - beautiful setting, excellent cuisine and abundant wildlife.

Activities

Sabi Sabi's Little Bush Camp offers not only all the creature comforts, but a host of adventures as well. Tracking Africa's big game including the Big Five in open vehicles by day and at night accompanied by qualified game rangers and Shangaan trackers, and going off road for exceptional close wildlife encounters, make for a truly memorable experience - the highlight of your safari holiday in South Africa.

Sabi Sabi Little Bush Lodge – Review by Milandi

Excellent little camp! The Sabi Sabi lodges were all a good surprise to us. They have a theme running throught them which explain the lodges well – yesterday, today & tomorrow with Selati being yesterday, Bush and Little Bush today and Earth being tomorrow.

We stayed at Little Bush Lodge, an exclusive lodge with only 6 rooms, each one with its own private Jacuzzi outside tub. The rooms were luxurious with everything you needed (full bathroom, sitting area, large deck with outside Jacuzzi hot tub and outside shower). But on balance I slightly preferred the rooms at Bush Lodge.

However we couldn’t fault it as the food was good, the game-viewing was EXCELLENT, the guiding was of a good standard. (Insane game-viewing where we almost saw 2 of the Big Five on ONE game drive with two separate sightings of leopard, rhino, buffalo incl a massive herd, and elephant. We were interrupted on our drive to see the leopard in a tree with a kill by …. another leopard! But only saw lion once.)

If you want to use the spa, you are taken to Sabi Earth Lodge spa which is probably 20-30 mins drive away. I think this is quite fun as you get to experience another lodge for an hour or two. All the Sabi lodges have beautiful, well-maintained gardens, but as the name suggests, this one is more in the bush and doesnt have the open expansive views of Bush Lodge and Selati.
