Dulini River Lodge has a superb riverside location (what a surprise!) – nestled in the shade of a grove of Ebony trees on the banks of the Sand River within the western part of the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. It has some of the prettiest river frontage in the reserve with flat river boulders often being used by lion as a good spot for a bit of sun bathing!

The 6 luxury suites are spread out along the shady river bank with good views over the river. Each is very spacious with a distinctive bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, and private plunge pool. Enjoy relaxing on your private deck perhaps whilst viewing a herd of elephants in the river below.

At the main lodge the sitting and dining areas have open views of the Sand River. Teak furniture, deep sofas covered in rich linens and interesting ornaments from around Africa create a welcoming and relaxed ambience. A giant Sausage tree provides shade for long lazy lunches whilst dinners are enjoyed in the open-air boma around a blazing fire, on the deck of your suite or even in the bush, lit only by candles.

The Sabi Sands game reserve is situated on a dolerite dyke which produces highly enriched soils and thus one of the best grazing and browsing habitats in Southern Africa. Due to the long history of sensitive game-viewing, the wildlife is mostly relaxed allowing for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. Morning and afternoon game drives are on offer along with morning bush walks accompanied by professional rangers and trackers.
