Named after the river it borders, Gomoti Plains camp lies alongside one of the smaller of the water system's flood plains in the Okavango Delta. Framed by towering palm trees, the iconic canvas tents provide eco-luxurious comfort in an area that is alive with superb land and water-based game-viewing opportunities. The camp's decorations take in the local theme of water and land, both essential to life in the Okavango Delta, offering a unique safari experience incorporating the natural surrounding habitat.
After a thrilling morning game drive explore the fascinating world of local myths, legends, and facts about the land, people, plants, animals, and insects by reading on of the many books in the camp's library. Alternatively, immerse yourself in the soothing sounds and warmth of the bush as a qualified therapist treats you to a relaxing facial or massage in the comfort of your room or relax on the oversized deck, at the bar, or one of the camp's lounges.
Gomoti Plains Camp offers extensive water activities with incredible wildlife diversity. The wildlife viewing in the area, both from vehicle and water is superb. Taking a water-based safari by motorised boat or in a traditionally shaped mokoro canoe at Gomoti Plains Camp offers up a completely different world. Based at water level you will see creatures and details that you would otherwise miss from the land.
Gomoti is alive with diversity and the chance to spot big plains game, wild dog dens, large prides of lion, big herds of buffalo and sightings of leopard and cheetah. It is a beauty of scale that is hard to imagine.

Luxury Safari Tents
The Safari Tents at Gomoti Plains Camp are built on elevated wooden decks which raise the tents and pathways off the ground and provide great viewing platforms to enjoy the views and wildlife around the camp. Each tent contains an en-suite bedroom with modern bathroom, patio deck and relaxation area and romantic outdoor showers, carefully balancing modern-day comforts with respect for the ecology.
Family Safari Tents
The Family Safari Tents at Gomoti Plains Camp have two separate sleeping areas, each with its own oversized bed. The beds can be separated into two twin beds or kept as a romantic king sized bed. Each sleeping area has an en-suite bathroom with both an indoor and outdoor shower. The suites have been designed to maximise privacy and optimise views of the land. The decor is inspired by traditional African safari.
