Cederberg Ridge is a luxurious wilderness lodge offering delicious food, hospitality and adventure. The lodge overlooks the panorama of the Cederberg Mountains with its unique raw, rugged beauty. Yet this stylish ‘away-from-it-all’ retreat is within easy reach of Cape Town and the Winelands (2½ hours scenic drive) and only 5km from Clanwilliam.
Various excursions are on offer, both on and off the farm. From walking trails to mountain biking, from guided rock art trips to boating, and from farm tours to flower-viewing. At the lodge, you can relax around the pool, pamper yourself with a spa treatment or enjoy story-telling and star-gazing at the fire-pit in the evening.
It offers the authentic ambience of a modern African farmhouse with much use of wood, natural materials and earthy tones. But the striking steel windows bring a contemporary touch. The lodge terrace, dining room and deck look out over the indigenous gardens which melt into the fynbos, veld and mountains beyond. Enjoy relaxing around the pool, under the fever trees or on the stoep.
