A leisurely two-hour drive from Cape Town, on a road that meanders through the beautiful rolling hills of the Overberg, The Arniston Spa Hotel is set on an azure blue sea, amid wild wind-swept dunes in the 200-year-old fishing village of Arniston. From here, you can visit Cape Agulhas, the southern point of Africa or the De Hoop wildlife sanctuary; explore Waenhuiskrans cave, or simply relax on the lovely sandy beaches.
The hotel offers 18 sea-facing bedrooms with private balconies and 20 pool-facing rooms. There’s a choice of large Luxury or Superior rooms. Small children should be accommodated in upstairs rooms as the downstairs rooms open out directly onto the pool deck.
The Arniston Spa Hotel is known for its friendly service and the à la carte terrace restaurant which serves simple fresh-caught local seafood and oysters. The hotel also has a bistro, ladies bar and large swimming pool for clients to enjoy during their stay. The Gingko spa with a Rasul chamber, saunas, treatment rooms and a variety of spa packages perfectly complement the beach and whale-watching on offer.

The Superior Sea Facing Rooms are fitted with all the comforts of home. They are luxuriously decorated and you can just step onto your own private balcony for sweeping views of the Indian Ocean, with its beautiful sunsets and a sparkling night sky. The bedroom has a king-sized bed and a large en-suite bathroom with a shower as well as a bath.
Ground Floor Superior Sea Facing
The Ground Floor Superior Sea Facing Rooms have a private balcony with quick access to Hotel Beach. You may also want to take a short stroll to Kassiesbaai or the slipway, dotted with its colourful fishing boats. These rooms have a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with both a shower and bath.
Pool Facing
The comfortably furnished Pool Facing Rooms are the perfect way to take a well-earned, relaxing break. They feature a private balcony looking out onto the crystal clear pool. These rooms have king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms with both a shower and bath. Some of the Pool Facing Rooms have a separate lounge area and on request, we can install up to two extra beds to accommodate children. Some rooms have a fireplace for those cosy winter evenings.

The VIP Suite
The crème de la crème of the room types is the super luxurious VIP Suite. It is spacious and lavishly furnished. Downstairs there is a lounge and dining area in case you want to eat in or entertain. The suite has a fully stocked bar and 20-channel DStv, creating a fun entertaining area for pre-dinner drinks or a relaxed afternoon of sport viewing. There are four balconies, two pool facing and two with panoramic views of the ocean. There are also TVs in the bedroom and the TV room. The bedroom is privately situated upstairs with its own luxurious en-suite bathroom.
