Depending on your question, we may reply by email, suggest a short video or phone call, or ask for a little more information so that we can point you in the right direction.

What you can ask us?

You might want advice on:

• Which safari country would suit you best
• When to travel for wildlife, weather or family holidays
• How to choose between safari regions or lodges
• Whether a safari is realistic for your dates, group size or budget
• How to combine safari with Cape Town, Victoria Falls, the beach or other areas
• Family safari options, malaria-free safaris or other special interests

There’s no obligation. Sometimes our conversation leads naturally into a full enquiry. Sometimes it simply helps you decide whether to keep planning, change direction, or wait for a better time.

Note on Time Zones

Our South African office works on GMT+2, and our UK office works on UK time. If a call seems useful, we will suggest a time during our working hours (typically 9am to 5pm).

This usually means morning calls for North American clients, afternoon calls for Asian or Australian/NZ clients, and more flexible options for UK/European clients.

Note on How We Work

Cedarberg Africa designs tailor-made African safari holidays, usually at a Premier to Luxury standard. (We are not the right fit for low-budget trips, self-catering style travel, or two-night hotel bookings.)

As a rough guide, most of the trips we arrange involve carefully selected lodges, hotels and safari camps. If you are unsure what sort of budget is realistic, please tell us which country or countries interest you and we can give you an honest indication of the likely minimum spend.

If we feel we are not the right people to help, we’ll say so. But where we can offer useful guidance, we are very happy to.
