Your journey begins in the Laikipia region at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, set along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. It is home to the last two remaining northern white rhinos on Earth, alongside the largest population of black rhino in East Africa. From Laikipia, you fly into the greater Maasai Mara for a contrasting safari experience at Encounter Mara, located within the private Mara Naboisho Conservancy. This exclusive area borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve but offers a quieter, more intimate safari with fewer vehicles, off-road driving, and outstanding big-cat sightings. The rolling savannah, dotted with acacia trees, supports healthy populations of lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, giraffe, and plains game throughout the year.
