A fairly new Lodge on the shores of Lake Kivu, close to the town of Kibuye. At Cormoran Lodge, it’s all about the view. All the rooms, the restaurant and terrace have breath-taking views of the lake and the surrounding islands.

All 7 rooms offer a high standard of comfort and views of Lake Kivu and the surrounding islands. In addition, the VIP room has a view of theย fiery crater of the Nyiragongo volcano in Congo. Each room isย equipped with television, wi-fi, mini fridge and bath / shower.

Being situated by Lake Kivu, there are watersport activities available including canoeing, boat rides and water skiing, at an additional cost. If you’d rather beย on dry land,ย there is a playย room at the lodge where you can enjoy a game ofย billiards, darts and card games.
