Overview

Tum Tum Treehouse Lodge is located within a remote and exclusive concession in south-eastern Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. Offering great game viewing year round, Hwange National Park boasts diversity of wildlife. Tum Tum is the newest development from Imvelo Safari Lodges and was designed to be both elevated and eco-conscious. Intertwined within the camelthorn trees, Tum Tum Treehouse Lodge creates an atmosphere of floating above the game below.

Accommodation at Tum Tum

The six room, 12 bed lodge is situated in attractive teak and camelthorn woodland overlooking a series of waterholes along an inter-dune trough. Four elevated treehouses feature en-suite bathrooms, well-appointed on beautiful wooden decks with insulated canvas walls, sliding glass doors and windows, showcasing the ancient camelthorns in which they are perched. Guests are able to watch wildlife wandering below them from the comfort of their treehouse bedroom or deck. For the less mobile, a luxury tent on a raised wooden platform about 1 metre above ground, with 2 bedrooms ensuite, provides flexible accommodation options for families as well as couples and honeymooners.

Tum Tum Treehouse Lodge is a lodge where our guests can slow down and relax on their decks to enjoy the wildlife parade below. The activities at Tum Tum will provide guests with opportunities to take game drives, bush walks, as well as visiting the rhino and Cobra Rangers in nearby Mlevu Sanctuary.

Four upstairs treehouses will feature en-suite bathrooms including outside showers, well-appointed on beautiful wooden decks with insulated canvas walls, sliding glass doors and windows, showcasing the ancient camelthorns in which they are perched. Guests will be able to watch wildlife wandering below them from the comfort of their treehouse bedroom or from their own Eagle’s Nest viewing platform linked by a walkway to their room. Two treehouses will be double configuration and the other 2 will be twins. However, the doubles can be converted to twin rooms too.
