Accommodation

Every room at the Oberoi has a romantic four poster bed, wooden slated ceilings and is decorated in restful neutral tones. The natural fabrics and contemporary styling are complemented by air-conditioning, DVD player, satellite television, wireless internet connection, safe, telephone, minibar, ipod docking station and tea/coffee facilities including Nespresso coffee machines.

The Luxury Pavilion rooms (70m²) have spacious bedrooms with sitting areas and outdoor terraces. The marble bathroom has a sunken bath and separate shower overlooking a private walled garden. Each luxury pavilion room has a spacious dining terrace for al fresco dining overlooking the gardens with views to the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Some are interconnected sharing a common entrance hall making them perfect for family beach holidays.

The Luxury Villas are larger and are set within a 325m² private walled garden. Most have a generous private swimming pool (usually 8 by 4.5m). The dining terrace has natural teak furniture and is ideal for breakfasts, private dinners or even a relaxing massage in the privacy of your own villa. The pools are heated during the winter months to ensure year round swimming is enjoyable. Some villas are adjoining via their gardens - perfect for a family with older children or a group of friends/family.

Facilities at The Oberoi

The facilities at the Oberoi are outstanding. There are two swimming pools, the usual wide array of sports and water sports, dive centre, floodlit tennis courts, library and business centre as well as the acclaimed Oberoi Spa and state-of-the-art gym. A Kids Club is available for children from 3 to 12 years and offers a range of themed activities.

The restaurant is stunning with a soaring roof of timber trusses and spectacular panoramic views over the Indian Ocean. You can choose to dine inside or on the terrace with a varied menu offering Creole, Oriental and European dishes.

One of the distinguishing features of The Oberoi is its superb spa – a sanctuary away from the stresses of the world.
