- Lovely lawns with Nyala antelope wandering about (The vervet monkeys were not so welcome!)
- Smart, efficiently run lodge, that manages not to feel too “stuffy”
- Bush breakfast at a semi-permanent boma. Excellent facilities (including a loo) but some people may prefer a more basic bush breakfast without the facilities
- About to redo doors in suites so can have more fresh air. Currently all rooms have lockable glass sliding doors. In November 2017 they will add lockable mesh sliding doors – better for ventilation and hearing the sounds of the bush
