At this time of year, temperatures on the coast of Tanzania and Kenya and the Indian Ocean Islands are very pleasant. So it’s a great time for a safari honeymoon in Botswana, Zimbabwe or Zambia. In the Cape (South Africa) there is little chance of rain. So this is a great time to check out Cape Town, the Winelands and the Cederberg. But there’s a greater probability of rainstorms in Mozambique and Mauritius, peaking in February.
