Our 13-night South African golf and safari trip offers an invigorating blend of championship fairways, coastal scenery and an immersive Big Five safari. You visit beautiful Cape Town, the Cape Winelands, the Garden Route and the Dolphin Coast with its Indian Ocean beaches. First you’ll enjoy 6 or 7 rounds of golf at some of the country’s most celebrated courses, matched with refined hotel stays. Then add on a two-night safari in one of the premier game reserves of South Africa.
This itinerary is offered on either a self-drive basis for complete independence. Or you can opt for private tours and transfers.
Your journey begins in the Cape, where you’ll play historic courses such as Royal Cape, Steenberg and Erinvale, alongside the celebrated courses of Fancourt, host to the Presidents Cup.
From here, you fly to KwaZulu Natal to experience the golden beaches and subtropical greens of the Dolphin coast, staying at the iconic Oyster Box Hotel. The finale is two unforgettable nights on safari in one of South Africa’s premier reserves—either at Rhino Sands or, for added indulgence, upgrade to Phinda Mountain or Phinda Forest Lodge.
This itinerary suits both couples and a group of friends, with luxury hotels and lodges that all feature excellent spa facilities for non-golfers.
