Safari Routing
Begin with a relaxing night in a country lodge near Maun, to allow you to recover from your international flight, and also to get on the first charter flight into the Delta so that you arrive refreshed and ready to go!
From here, you head by helicopter to two contrasting Okavango Delta camps. Then you fly into the where you first spend three nights at the newly redone Baines Camp. Here where you mainly enjoy land-based game-viewing (with some water activities in the peak flood). Then you continue your safari with the magnificent seasonal camp, Chiefs Camp on the game-rich Chiefs island private concession. Chief’s island is on the western edge of the Moremi Game Reserve. So here you can enjoy game-viewing by vehicle as well as mokoro trips and boating in peak flood season (July to September).
Then you fly by light aircraft to the magnificent Savute Channel in the southern Chobe. Next you spend two nights on the Chobe riverfront. Here you enjoy both game drives and game-viewing on the river by boat.
Together, these areas offer varied landscapes and a rewarding mix of game drives, boating, guided walks and mokoro excursions, depending on seasonal water levels.
The safari ends at Victoria Falls River Lodge, where you can unwind beside the Zambezi after several days of exceptional wildlife viewing.
