Mkulumadzi Camp Review

I love the riverside setting of Mkulumadzi Camp and you can hear the water flowing throughout the day and night. I suspect that the swing bridge – being the only way to get to the camp –  may be a logistical nightmare for the lodge to manage. But we found it was a magical part of the experience for us. (However it is worth pointing out for people who are frailer and unsteady on their feet!)

The suites are stunning and modern and so are the public areas of the lodge. The food, again, was excellent. The Management couple were fine but not as friendly as some of the local Malawian managers although they did dine with us.

Unfortunately I had to leave early and so was not able to enjoy the full game-experience whilst I was there but I can see from the previous clients that they saw lions. We loved the hide at the waterhole which is a great wildlife viewing point.
