The Winemakers Tour

This connoisseur Winemakers tour is a tour for the more serious wine enthusiast! The focus is much less on the scenic touring of the Winelands and much more on wine.

The Winemakers tour visits some of South Africa’s top producers in the Cape Winelands. (Even Constantia and Hermanus as well!) You are accompanied by a qualified winemaker with lots of experience of making wine in South Africa and the rest of the world. During this tour, you’ll get much more info hands-on with the winemaker. You’ll taste wine out of the barrels or tank samples. And, you’ll go on personal vineyard visits with walks through the vineyards.

If you have any specific wine estates you wish to visit, you can let us know ahead of time and we can try to incorporate those estates in the tour. Lunch will be at a delightful wine estate restaurant (at an additional cost).

Your guide will be able to give you a broad overview of the South African wine industry. He or she will also be able to assist with shipping wine abroad.

Note: The tour prices vary depending on whether you are staying in the Winelands or Cape Town, and also on the number of people in your party.
