Overview
Designed for the prime game-viewing period of the Tanzania dry season. Between June and November is the best wildlife time in Tarangire. This is when the seasonal Kuro Camp operates.
This sample safari offers a very attractive and balanced mix. A mix between the relatively undiscovered Tarangire Park and the famous Serengeti National Park. Tarangire has one of the highest densities of large hoofed mammals. Such as zebra and wildebeest, in East Africa and the largest population of elephants in northern Tanzania. You then fly to the wide open plains of the Serengeti where you are likely to see lion, hyena, cheetah and maybe leopard.
Not only is this tour great for the Annual Migration, it is also ideal if you don't want to spend your time travelling by road between the three parks and you get to see the amazing country from the air as well!
Tarangire is great country in which to hop off the game drive vehicle and enjoy being on foot in the bush. Game walks are a particular feature of visiting this park.
