Time of Year to visit

Given the routing, it is best undertaken when the migration is in the central to northern part of the Serengeti. That is also the nicest time to visit Lake Natron. I would say it is ideal from mid June to September and also good in May, June and October. Many people would find it too hot in Lake Natron in the summer months of November to April. The price below is for June to October and assumes Karibu River Camp. Contact us for a price at a different time of year.

Tailor-made options

You will need an initial overnight stay in Arusha. But we will quote that when we know your flight arrangements as this will influence where we suggest.

This tour is currently a circular tour visiting Tarangire, then Lake Natron, then Serengeti, then finishing with the Ngorongoro Crater. We can change it around so that you end with the Serengeti and can fly back to Arusha. It does involve some re-tracing of our steps but not too much. However it would be quite a  bit more as the vehicle would be returning empty and you would be paying for the extra flight cost, Contact us for a quote.

Notes

The Price below shows the option with only 2 people travelling.  Please note that it is less expensive if you are a party of 4 or 6 people.
