Overview
Nile Safari Lodge offers a magical escape in the most luxurious, tranquil and eco-friendly setting in Uganda. Take in the views of the River Nile from every corner of the lodge. Escape the ordinary and experience the awe-inspiring spectacles that are on offer on the banks of the world’s longest river and Uganda’s largest national park, Murchison Falls National Park.
The exclusive lodge contains only eight secluded luxurious bandas, each designed to be your home away from home, throughout your stay giving you the ultimate privacy and comfort. Each banda has a thatched roof, spacious seating area, day bed, a generous mosquito net, en-suite facilities with indoor and outdoor showers and a private viewing deck with a swing chair and deck chairs.
Nile Safari Lodge offers a range of thrilling activities; go on a fun-filled game drive, enjoy brunch at the awe-inspiring Murchison Falls and cruise on the Nile into the sunset. Guests can immerse themselves in nature as well as enjoy cultural exchanges.
Guests can also venture on a chimp trekking excursion. Uganda has a modest population of about five thousand chimpanzees distributed throughout the country, across various forests and game parks. Budongo forest is the biggest Mahogany forest found in the whole of East Africa as well as being a habitat to the largest number of chimpanzees throughout Uganda. The distance is 35 km from Nile Safari Lodge.

Deluxe Banda
The six Deluxe Bandas provide a high level of luxury and service inclusive of a traditional freestanding bathtub; Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evening views. A monsoon high-pressure indoor shower, vital for the early morning safari game drives, and an outdoor shower designed to embrace the beauty of the nature surrounding your banda.
Exclusive Banda
The Exclusive Banda has incredible views, with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, secluded from all other rooms. This room is the crème de la crème, it has it all. Imagine floating in the plunge pool, gazing over the World’s longest river and the National Park; As the night falls, a private candlelit dinner is prepared at the bank of the river. Before falling asleep you will star gaze into a crystal clear milky way on the outdoor bed.
Family Villa
The family Villa is the ideal option for larger groups. It accommodates four adults and four children. It has two master bedrooms with a loft including two king size beds, four single beds, a spacious living room, and a private terrace with an optional BBQ lunch service by the pool. It has a private swimming pool with a stunning view of the shoe-bill peninsula and a private campfire.
