Visiting us in Lewes, East Sussex
After 20 years in London, we’ve relocated to the historic county town of East Sussex, Lewes; famous for its Bonfire celebrations, 12th castle and nearby Glyndebourne Opera. You can find us now at:
14 Star Brewery
Castle Ditch Lane
Lewes BN7 1YJ
To make an appointment please call 020 8898 8533 or email us.
Lewes is 70 minutes by train from Victoria Station in central London, Star Brewery is a five minute walk from Lewes station. Walk uphill from the station on Station Street. Cross into Fisher Street at the traffic lights. Star Brewery is opposite The Lamb pub and we are to be found on the ground floor via Door 3 on Commercial Passage. Don’t go as far as Castle Ditch Lane itself.
From the A27 from Brighton, you will enter Lewes on the A277 Brighton Road. This turns into the High Street which you follow into the centre of town. Pass Lewes Crown Court on your left and then turn left at the traffic lights into Fisher Steet, a narrow one way street. Bear round to the right into West Street and the closest car park to us is the short-stay West Street car park on the right, by the Old Needlemaker’s. Leave the car park on foot, turning right into into Market Lane. By The Lamb pub, cross into Commercial Passage and Door 3 to Star Brewery is on your left, between the Lewes Arms and The Lamb pubs.
If this car park is full, there are three other pay and display car parks within a few more minutes walk. All are short-stay so for a full day browsing the antique shops, second-hand book shops and galleries of Lewes, head for the NCP Eastgate car park in the Cliffe area of town. But be warned that it is a 10 minute uphill walk from there to our location by the castle walls!
Visiting the team in Clanwilliam, Cederberg
Our office is on a citrus farm in the foothills of the Cederberg Mountains, a very easy and pleasant drive north from Cape Town.
To make an appointment please call 027 482 2444 or email us.
Directions from Cape Town
(about 2¾ hours drive)
Take the N7 north past Malmesbury, Piketberg and Citrusdal. Pass the Clanwilliam Dam on the right and take the left off-ramp onto the R364 to Lamberts Bay/Clanwilliam.
At the T-junction, turn right to Clanwilliam. Pass a Shell petrol station on the left and stay on this road. After about 2km, take the left hand turn onto the Klawer road. Take this road for approximately 8km (note your speedometer) and just after a white wall with Steenrug Farms on your right, also a pack shed on the right just before the wall, you look diagonally across to the left and you might see a white thatched farmhouse and a smaller white building next to it (the office!). Turn left on a farm road and left again into the parking area.
