Cedarberg was very knowledgeable and approachable. Good advice about the three night safari at Entabeni, which we loved. Very efficient, all transfers ran smoothly. I have already recommended Cedarberg to someone looking to book a photography trip with a small group of friends.
We much preferred getting the Gautrain to the airport from the hotel rather than staying in the airport hotel before a morning flight. The Fire and Ice Hotel was good and very well situated. I loved the Maropeng Boutique Hotel and the whole visit to the Cradle of Humankind.
What did you most enjoy? Anything you’d do differently?: The three night safari at Entabeni was a real highlight and perfectly chosen to fit into our itinerary (we were joining a cycling trip in Namibia afterwards). The two days in Johannesburg were very interesting and the Apartheid Museum, Constitution Hill, the Origins Centre were excellent. We hired a car for one day, to go out to the Cradle of Humankind, which gave us more flexibility than transfers. However, the cost of delivery to the hotel was very high and we regret not simply getting a taxi/ Uber to the car hire premises. We had paid for a Sat Nav but it didn’t work and the representative spent a huge amount of time trying to operate it which cut into our time.
How likely is that you would recommend us?: 10 – Extremely likely
