How would you rate your holiday with Cedarberg, overall? Excellent
Comments about Cedarberg: Very helpful discussions beforehand to give us lots of options. The personalised website was really good. The pre-holiday booklet was really useful as well
Comments about places stayed: Windhoek – Hilltop & Olive Grove – Food and location of both excellent. Staff at Olive Grove gave us a really good recommendation for dinner.
Okonjima – Luxury Bush Camp – Great room and food, activities and guides were amazing
Ongava – Andersons Camp – Nice accommodation but the wrong time of the year to stay there as it was very cold in the tent. Compared to other places we stayed the staff weren’t as friendly. In hindsight would have preferred to stay on the east side of Etosha as animal sightings were low.
Huab Lodge – Great family atmosphere, very relaxing, hot spring was awesome. Jan and Susie weren’t there but Monica and Johan treated us like family.
Erongo Wilderness Lodge – Fantastic, everything. No faults at all.
Swakopmund – Villa Margherita – Really friendly staff. Booked us a great boat and 4×4 dune tour. Gave excellent recommendations for restaurants.
Desert Homestead – Accommodation and tours were great especially the Soussovlei tour. Food was a bit random in combinations.
Bagatelle – Great setting, food and accommodation
What did you most enjoy? Anything you’d do differently? All the sundowners were great and so were the game drives. The car we had wasn’t 4 wheel drive but was more of a city SUV. When we return to Namibia (and we intend to) we would get a car more suited to the roads.
