Motswiri Camp- Raw Botswana Review

This was one of my favorite camps that I stayed at in Botswana. So much to do here compared to other camps. I must say, when you arrive at the camp you don’t get the “WOW” effect. This is probably because the entrance is a little concealed by the trees and high grasses. But that cannot hide the beauty that lies within. The camp is situated on the banks of the Selinda Spillway. The camp is mainly solar powered. It has an outdoor lounge, viewing deck and dining area which overlooks the spillway. There are five tents, with one family unit and one honeymoon unit. The family unit is inter-leading with the doorway through the shower/toilet. The family unit has two bedrooms and two shower/toilets with doors that can lock from both sides. The camp also has a plunge pool with a sunbathing area.

Motswiri camp offer a much greater variety of activities then most other camps including boat cruises, mokoro trips, canoeing, fishing, horse riding, game drives and walking trails. I honestly enjoyed this camp the most, purely because of the activities on offer.
