The 7 night Out of Africa Air Safari is probably the best value air safari package in Africa, with scheduled weekly departures which bring the luxury of a very high-end private flying safari to a wider audience without compromising on any of the niceties. It departs from Nairobi each Wednesday throughout the year. The parks included are the Masai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo West and Tsavo East.
Luxury Air Travel
Guests can once again enjoy the excitement and luxury of flying, travelling in a Cessna Grand Caravan which is equipped with digital weather radar, Garmin 3D navigation system and air conditioning. The private aeroplane has 8 very comfortable and luxurious First Class leather reclining seats with the ability to move in all directions. Passengers have plenty of leg room and can swing the seats to ensure good views and angles for photography. The large windows allow guests to observe the passing elephant herds, the hippos close to the rivers and the extensive Kenyan Savannah from a very close distance.
During the flights, your pilot will give you information about the wildlife and the scenic highlights in the parks via headphones. A Silver qualified guide travels with you throughout the safari and your experienced pilot will fly low over the most interesting terrain so the flights are as much part of your overall game-viewing experience as your time on the ground.
Visit some of Kenya's best loved National Parks and Game Reserves:
- Tsavo East is well known for its large herds of elephants covered in the characteristic red dust of the area
- Tsavo West is all about the spectacular scenery and rolling volcanic landscape
- Amboseli is renowned and unmissable for the chance to soak up the iconic view of Mount Kilimanjaro
- Masai Mara will always captivate with its amazing wildlife and the chance to see the Great Migration betweeen July and October each year
Accommodation on safari will complement the personal but up-market mode of getting around. The chosen camps are run with passion and individuality to give you a true sense of each reserve you visit. In each place extra highlights are included within the safari, such as bush walks, a visit to a traditional Maasai village, a bush breakfast in the Mara and various other extras along the way.
Families and children
This is a most convenient way to travel with a family as the journeys from camp to camp are all part of the holiday. Children age 6 to 12 pay 60% of the adult rate if sharing with two parents or 80% of the adult rate if sharing with one adult or another child.
The Out of Africa Air Safari departs from Nairobi each Wednesday throughout the year.
