The Essence of a Botswana & Zambian Safari

This 9 night safari offer in Botswana and Zambia is the perfect combination of wildlife and the natural wonder of the Victoria Falls.

A land of beauty and the best wildlife safaris you will find, Botswana offers visitors fence-less natural parks and private game reserves. Enabling huge herds of game to roam freely in contrasting landscapes. From the Kalahari’s desert plains to the Okavango’s lush waterways… Botswana is one of Africa’s last pristine lands and offers so many memorable images for those lucky enough to visit.

Combine this with the natural 7th wonder of the world – the Victoria Falls. Some of the most spectacular views of the Victoria Falls are from the Zambian side of the gorge. The clouds of spray generated by this thunderous descent have resulted in a lush rain forest full of stunning wild flowers. The Victoria Falls offers a dramatic scenic contrast and change of pace from the safari experience.

Moremi Game Reserve – 3 nights at Khwai Tented Camp

On arrival at Maun Airport in Botswana, you are met for your charter flight to Khwai Tented Camp for a adventurous 3 night stay.

The Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana is slightly elevated protected tribal land on the eastern boundary of the Okavango Delta. The Moremi is where the vast kalahari grasslands meets the live-giving waters of the Okavango. There are no fences here and so animals migrate freely between the Moremi and these grasslands with vast herds of elephant migrating from the dry Kalahari in search of water as the dry season progresses.

Moremi Game Reserve is particularly known for its predators, both of the mammal and feathered variety. Animals in the Moremi tend to be relaxed, often allowing vehicles to approach closely so the Moremi is a photographer’s delight.

Khwai Tented Camp is on the edge of the Moremi Game Reserve. An ideal spot to begin your adventures, spend the days exploring the open grasslands and great stands of leadwood and mopane woodlands, while night brings nocturnal drives and stargazing. Perched on a raised deck, with sweeping lagoon views connecting to the Khwai River, this beautiful camp seamlessly blends into the surrounding woodland area. The camp consists of six en suite tents all dotted along the lagoon for the utmost privacy. There are no permanent structures; everything can be removed to leave the wilderness exactly as found, minimizing the impact on the environment.

Besides the day-time drives which can feature Africa’s big attractions – lion, cheetah, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, hippo and giraffe – you will be able to explore nature after sunset with a night drive. All led by qualified and passionate guides who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you.

The Kwando private concession lie in a region known broadly as the Linyanti Swamps to the west of Chobe National Park. This private game reserves offer a wilder game experience than Chobe National Park. At Linyanti Bush Camp, in the Chobe Enclave, open floodplains, dense forests and papyrus-lined lagoons protect and provide shelter for the vitality and lifeblood of the area. The Linyanti marshes are one of the most sought-after destinations in Northern Botswana, boasting a great diversity of game and a peaceful atmosphere.

With just six luxury tents, Linyanti Bush Camp offers an intimate safari experience in the private concession. The six spacious tents look out over the vast Linyanti landscape and enjoy these views from the comfort of your own outdoor seating area.
