This explorer tour visits four very different parts of South Africa, but each is less than 3 hours drive from each other (plus one domestic flight). The offer equates to 13 nights for the price of 10 for the whole year (excluding the Festive Christmas season).
This luxury tour uses private transfers between the four destinations. You start in cosmopolitan Cape Town and then are transferred up to the rugged Cederberg wilderness (3 hours drive) to stay at the magnificent Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve for 3 nights. This offers a complete change of scenery. Then you fly to Durban for a change of climate and vegetation. Stay 3 nights at The Oyster Box Hotel on the golden sands of Umhlanga Rocks. Finally you take an easy 3 hour transfer up to the Big Five game reserves of KwaZulu Natal to stay at Thanda Safari Lodge for 3 nights.
Tailor-make this tour
The fundamentals of Cape Town, Cederberg and Umhlanga Rocks (near Durban) cannot change but you can change your game lodge to Thanda Tented Camp or perhaps Amakhosi Safari Lodge, or change the number of nights on safari.
