Day 5

3 nights Okavango Delta, Fully Inclusive

Today you are transferred back to Cape Town Airport to board your scheduled flight to Maun in Botswana, via Johannesburg (flight not included in this tour price but quoted separately).

On arrival, you take a short charter flight for the short 20 minute hop to the Okavango Delta.

The Okavango Delta, the jewel in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, is Africa’s largest and most beautiful oasis – an isolated, lush green paradise with some of the richest wildlife in the world. This exceedingly beautiful maze of waterways, lagoons, vast grassy plains and palm-fringed and wooded islands is home to crocodile, hippo, elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, giraffe, wild dog, rare antelope and around 400 bird species. But wildlife is just one of many elements that combine to make the delta a treasure house. It is the brooding quietness of the waterways, the plaintive cry of the fish eagle, the malachite kingfisher reflected in the waters and the scent of the water lilies, which will stay with you forever.
